The Bach Flower Remedies - Star of Bethlehem
Dr. Edward Bach, a British bacteriologist and homeopath, developed the Bach Flower Remedies in the 1930s based on the belief that emotional imbalance is the root cause of physical illness. Shifting away from traditional medicine, he identified 38 plant and flower essences, each corresponding to a specific negative state of mind—such as fear, uncertainty, or loneliness. The system is designed to be a gentle, holistic form of "energy medicine," where the "vibrational nature" of the flowers is captured in water (via the sun or boiling method) to help balance the patient's psyche. Bach's philosophy was centered on "healing the patient, not the disease," aiming to restore harmony between the soul and the personality so the body can naturally heal itself.
JoMa connects to the healing vibrations of these remedies as part of her creative process.
